About Me.
My name is Luna Legaspi and I’m a recent Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) graduate. I have studied fashion design for the last 5 years. I'm eager to enter the industry, contribute what I've learned as well as continue to grow and become the best creative I can be. I have strong experience in construction, digital design, illustration, and much more.

2019-2021
Associate in Applied Science degree Fashion Design
In my first year of college, I was given awarded the opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy. I studied fashion design at Polimoda. Here at Polimoda, where I was able to learned the basic fundamentals of design while being immersed in Italian culture. I traveled to Milan and Paris, learning about the history, craft, production, and beauty of the European fashion industry. This experience prepared me for my second year at FIT, helping me to define my vision, creativity and design aesthetic.
2021-2023
Bachelor of Fine Arts degree Fashion Design Sportswear
In my third year, I chose to specialize in sportswear. I believed sportswear would allow me to have complete creative freedom. Through this specialization, I learned and applied special techniques of fabric manipulation,textile development, and fabric exploration. This allowed me to hone in more on my vision and my craft. I took hold of the freedom to explore my imagination and bring it to life in my designs and build my portfolio. This openness created space for me to explore other mediums such as accessory design, jewelry design, and 3D printing. This allowed me to integrate my newfound passions into my designs.
